Registration Categories and Statuses
In Saskatchewan, anyone who uses the titles ‘audiologist’, 'speech-language pathologist', or any word title or designation to imply that the person is registered as an audiologist or speech-language pathologist, must be registered with the College.
“CSASK registrant” refers to a person who is registered as a member of the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan.
Individuals allowed to practise audiology or speech-language pathology in Saskatchewan must hold one of the following licences:
- Practising
- Provisional - must practise under supervision
- Temporary – may practise for a limited period of time and for a specific purpose.
- Cross-provincial practice
Conditions - If there are any conditions, limitations or restrictions on a registrant’s practice, they will be listed in the public directory (e.g. supervised practice).
Indicators that an individual is not allowed to practise audiology or speech-language pathology in Saskatchewan:
- Non-Practising registrants
- Expired status
- Unlicensed status
- Resigned status
- Voluntarily Surrendered status
- Suspended status
- Expelled status
It is each registrant’s responsibility to ensure their information is accurate. Registrants can update their information through the profile update located on the registrant portal.
